John 11:38-39
”Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus said “Take away the stone.” Martha the sister of the dead man said to him, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead for four days.””
I was reading this and the Lord moved my heart to these revelations:
The Lord is deeply moved with the death that we are experiencing in our lives.
The Lord desires life for us so badly that he isn’t afraid to walk into the stench of our death for the purpose of pursuit and healing.
Verse 40
“Jesus said to her, “Did I not tel you that if you believed you would see the Glory of God?””
Rolling away the stone of death in our life, and going into the cave of guilt and shame and lifelessness takes courage…
Walking out of that place with healing and deliverance, is an act of boldness in faith and sheer belief.
